Privacy Policy

This policy covers brandenowens.com, including IntEarth, the Finance Tracker, Factory Helper, and any other tools hosted here. This is a personal project site, not a commercial business.

What we collect

If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account email address and display name solely to authenticate you. This is handled by Firebase Authentication (Google). We do not store your password — Google manages that entirely.

If you use the Finance Tracker, the financial data you enter is stored in your own private Firestore document. Only you can read or write your data — it is not shared with or visible to other users or third parties.

If you submit feedback through the Feedback page, your message text and submission timestamp are stored. No identifying information (name, email) is attached to feedback entries.

If you post comments on IntEarth, your username and comment text are stored in our database.

What we do not collect

We do not run advertising, sell data, use third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, no tracking pixels), or share any user data with anyone outside of the Firebase/Google infrastructure used to run this site.

Cookies

Firebase Authentication uses a session cookie to keep you logged in. This is a strictly necessary cookie — it exists only to maintain your login session and is not used for tracking or advertising purposes.

Third-party services

This site uses Firebase (Google) for authentication and data storage. Google's privacy policy applies to data handled by Firebase: policies.google.com/privacy.

Data retention

Your data remains stored until you request deletion or delete your account. To request removal of your data, contact obranden82@gmail.com.

California residents (CCPA)

This site does not sell personal information. It does not meet the thresholds that trigger full CCPA obligations (annual revenue over $25 million, or processing data of 100,000+ consumers). California residents may still request to know what data is held about them or request deletion by emailing the address above.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from minors.
